The atmosphere was very welcoming as well as the hostess, Sani. The food was very good, especially the Misser Wat (split lentils in spicy sauce), Doro Wat (chicken in a special sauce which is a bit spicy), and the ASSA goulash (fish tips in sauce). Do make sure to tell them if you want it a bit more spicy for a more authentic flavor.

Living in LA, we are spoiled with Little Ethiopia on Fairfax Ave. So many options. I was very impressed with Enat’s veggie combo. It was delicious and one of the best Ethiopian meals I have ever had. The injera was perfection. One of the veggie dishes was a wasabi-flavored lentil dish. I had never seen any other Ethiopian restaurant offer this dish. The wasabi was SO intense, but it cleared up my senses. I ordered takeout two days in a row. They saw me outside with my fur nephew so they brought the check and food to me. Great service! I highly recommend this restaurant if you love Ethiopian food!

We were really impressed with the food! I had Yebeg Tibs (lamb) and my son had Chekkina Tibs (tenderloin). We had sambussa as the appetizer - all delicious. The dinner ambiance is loud Ethopian music videos & soccer on the tv. The food came out fast! I dont come to the D.C. area often, but when I do, I will come back to Enat!

Today at work, we decided to try something new and ordered Ethiopian food. For some of our coworkers, it was their first time experiencing Ethiopian cuisine, so we went with a variety—beef, lamb, and chickpeas for a vegetarian option. We didn’t order too much at first, thinking not everyone would be into it, but once the food arrived, it turned out to be absolutely delicious—and not nearly enough for all of us! We’ll definitely be ordering from this place again. Brhan was incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering helpful suggestions on what to order. His above-and-beyond service was truly appreciated.

I've been here several times, it's a go to whenever we have family or friends visiting, as most of them have never had ethiopian food before. It's a great option for people with dietary restrictions (gluten, dairy, meat). We always get the veggie combo and then add 2 meat or fish dishes. There's plenty for 4 people.

Excellent service! The staff was attentive and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. I highly recommend trying their kitfo and Tibs—it’s the best I’ve had! Flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Definitely a must-visit!

Tried a new place tonight. Love Ethiopian food and this place did not disappoint. I saw that it got pretty good reviews, so it was worth the drive from my place in Fairfax. Had a short chat with the owner who is very personable. Love the boom box hanging next to his bar, he just put up a few cassette tapes from his hometown.

I was staying across the street and came in because of the good reviews. Great atmosphere with Ethiopian pop music from YouTube on the TVs and lots of people hanging out. Food was delicious and spicy. Fun fact: the owner brought the old boombox zip tied to the column next to the bar with him from Ethiopia years ago.
